For those of you who do not understand German, the quote runs, Fantasy is more important than all science, for science is limited. 'Wissen' could also be translated as 'knowledge'. However, if you want to get really technical, the word 'science' itself actually comes from the Latin scientia, which means 'knowledge', from the verb scio, scire 'to know', so it's all the same thing in my opinion.
