...Um, how do I even begin to explain?
(1) I gave up Tumblr and fanfiction for Lent.
(2) I finally cracked and downloaded Google Chrome. Okay, it was primarily because of internet homework. YOU try maintaining your composure when you have to reboot the whole stupid system after every two problems and end up spending several hours trying to do what should have taken two at most.
I'm not sure what to think of Chrome so far. It hasn't been noticeably faster than Internet Explorer. However, it doesn't jam up during my internet homework, so I'll use it for that. It also keeps offering to translate the German pages I look up for my presentation research for me... I finally got it to stop asking.
Anyway, Blogger works with Chrome! It should... *shoots dirty looks at Google* Why did I choose Chrome in the first place? I hate Safari. The buttons are all in the wrong places. Mozila Firefox... eh. I'd heard good things about Chrome; I guess that's my main reason. However, I'm still keeping Internet Explorer to be on the safe side.
Honestly, I don't know what's going to appear on my blog here over Lent. Right now, my brain is an... interesting mix of science, math frustration (don't ask about differentials... just don't), and crack. Some of that may have to do with just finishing Fruits Basket. Yep, I read it all in my spare time over the past week.
And now I plan to try Yu-Gi-Oh! again. Gosh, I'm nuts. But seriously, whatever medium the story first appeared in is the best. Plus, psycho!Yami is absolutely hilarious, if you go in for Black Comedy. The last time I read it, I was keeping a running count of how many people he set on fire. Good times, good times. XD

Okay, So Apparently The Problem Is MY Browser
I am using Internet Explorer on a different computer and I have not had a single problem with Blogger. Weird. I don't know what's up with the installment of it on my computer. Maybe I had better head over to Microsoft's website and check for updates. AGAIN. Although they are supposed to download and update automatically. Go figure.
In the meanwhile, enjoy this gif of Bilbo being pleased with himself.

Whoa, It Worked!
Frowning Mycroft is an appropriate reaction image to my issues with Blogger.
So, apparently I can post pictures and videos only if I don't use Internet Explorer. This poses a bit of a problem. I can't always be stealing my mom's iMac to blog random pictures, now, can I?
Internet Explorer in general has been hating me lately, and I don't know why. I'm fairly sure I have the latest version, so why does it want me to update? Gah.

In Which I Express My Confusion
So I've noticed that I only gain followers (not like I'm really trying to gain any) on my Tumblr when I leave it alone for a few days at a time.
Lo and behold, I come back to this after abandoning it for weeks and find I have a new follower.
???
I do not understand this new devilry.
Anyway, hello! Not sure how much I'll be posting here with Internet Explorer refusing to let me upload pictures and videos... Honestly, I've considered abandoning this for good. But we'll see.

Well.
Blogger won't even let me upload videos from YouTube onto here. Google is indeed retarded.
Anyway, I just found the song "Frozen Heart" from Frozen in Norwegian and have listened to it approximately 30 times by now (no exaggeration). I don't know what it is about songs in a foreign language that move me so, but they do. Gah.
GO LOOK IT UP. NOW.

OF COURSE!!!
I just realized why Blogger won't let me upload any more pictures. The last pictures I uploaded consisted of (and I quote) 'mindless RA spam'.
Obviously, the majestic awesomeness that is everything Richard Armitage broke Google and they're having to pick up the pieces.
It makes perfect sense! XD

Google Is Just Retarded
All right, so Blogger has been complaining for the past few weeks that the browser I use (Internet Explorer - yes, go ahead and laugh at me) is outdated and won't work properly. The past couple of days, my university email system has been saying the same thing.
Frustrated, I click on the link to download the newest version of Internet Explorer. This leads me to a Microsoft website that happily states: "You've got our latest browser. Thank you for using Internet Explorer!"
*insert Bilbo Eyeroll gif here*
(Blogger is still not letting me load any sort of visual medium.)
I mean, on the one hand, I do feel sort of vindicated that I was right that my browser couldn't possibly be outdated. On the other hand, Blogger and my university email system are still refusing to work properly for me. So... what next?
Should I download Mozilla Firefox or, heavens forbid, Google Chrome? Yes, let's help Google continue its relentless march to rule the world. It's like General Sherman marching to the sea, burning everything in its path. A bit like Disney, come to think of it.
Anyway.
This is why I hate technology.

Seriously, Google
I looked at your list of supported browsers. I'm using Internet Explorer 9. That is on your list. Stop giving me these 'Error Detected' notices and making Blogger all wonky.
It's getting old.

*Throws Things At Google*
For some unknowable reason, Google has decided it hates my browser's guts and is refusing to do much of anything. Hence, blogging is a problem.
Google, why do you make me vow to strangle you every few months?
Google, why do you delete all the blogs I'm following (not many)?
Google, why do you make me have a tag just for 'technology problems'?
GOOGLE, WHY DID YOU DO THIS WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF THE RELEASE OF THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG???
Google, I hate you.

I Just Learned How To Tag Stuff
Or is it 'hashtag'? I'm confused.
On another note, Blogger alphabetizes the hashtags. Grr. I want them in the order I write them, Blogger! If I want them alphabetized, I'll alphabetize them myself.
Even so... hashtags... you do not know how much of a breakthrough this is for me. This is great. I've been needing to organize my posts better for ages. Now I can look up stuff.
...As soon as I go back and tag all my posts... *groans* ... all almost 400 of 'em...
*sigh*

Who Else Feels Better After Some Random Pictures?
I do. It helps. De-stressing in non-destructive ways is a good thing. I am a firm believer in humor as a de-stressing technique. Funny pictures constitute humor. Therefore, funny pictures are a good de-stressing technique.
There. My logic is infallible. XD
Let's start with some squirrels.

I wish I had that teacher.
Actually, I did have two chemistry teachers my second semester who were that awesome. (To demonstrate, the Friday before spring break, when about 12 out of the 72 people in the class showed up, my teacher for lecture took us outside to the courtyard and we SET BALLOONS ON FIRE.) In fact, their combined awesomeness is pretty much the reason why I changed my major to chemistry.
Of course, I do not have either of them now. :( And one of them is retiring after this year. His awesomeness shall be deeply missed.
Tony Stark/Iron Man would also make an awesome teacher, although I'm not sure what exactly we would be learning or how much of it we would learn. I doubt we would become experts in thermonuclear astrophysics overnight. But perhaps we could take a few basic classes, like Electronics 101, Building Power Suits In Caves Out Of Scraps 201, and Sarcastic One-Liners 211.
And awesomeness would be had by all.
Why, yes, I do think so.
Is this proof that software designers actually do have a sense of humor, buried deep underneath the strata of sadism that compels them to design computers the way they do? Perhaps we shall never know for sure.
Why, yes, I rather think so again.
Once more, ladies and gentlemen: why, yes, I rather think so.
Now this is a teacher with a sense of humor. Gotta love those teachers. They're always my favorites, even when they go an assign a huge paper for you to work on while you're trying to study other subjects for tests and the like...
Creative nutritional label!
I would be worried. Very worried. In fact, I might not get on the plane at all.
This is very true. The desks that you have to swivel up and over to write on them are especially annoying, particuarly when they have different mechanisms from building to building. You couldn't just buy one type of this desk?
Oops is right.
Finally got one of 'em! They've been scurrying around all day!
Every store and office needs this sign!! XD
And now we know how raisins are made. The little men - ant-men? miniature gnomes? What are we to call this diminutive folk? - take out their equally tiny compressors and squeze all the uice out of the grapes. Where the juice goes, I do not know. Perhaps they siphon it away to feed their dying civilization underneath the counter? Perhaps they are merely paid to do this?
It is fascinating to consider the possibilities.
Well, there are. Sort of. It's just they don't apply all the time, so they might as well not even exist.
Gah.
And don't even get me started on our alphabet or our spelling. It's atrocious. I'm really glad English is my native language because I would never want to learn it otherwise!!!!
Oh, yikes. Do people think toilets are magical garbage disposal units and that they can just flush everything down it with no ill effect? The mind boggles...
I pity those poor plumbers who had to deal with this stuff!
