So the other day Aidan Turner and Dean O'Gorman did a live Questions & Answers on the Hobbit Facebook page. Let me share my favorites:
Random Person 1: "To Aidan: So you have played a dwarf, a werewolf, and a vampire. Do you have any propositions to play a man? Maybe they think you are too cute to play a human?"
Answer: "Aidan's waiting for the human race to evolve into more beautiful people, so Aidan can be more representative of us mortals."
Random Person 2: "^THIS."
Random Person 3: "Speaking in the third person or was that Mr. O'Gorman?"
Random Person 4: "THIS IS THE BEST."
Random Person 5: "This is the 'WIN' of this evening XD"
Random Person 6: "anyone else dying of laughter?"
Answer: "That was Dean, haha."
Random Person 1: "How would Fili and Kili react on seeing Thorin twerk??"
Answer: "They'd turn around and go back home."
Random Person 2: "^THIS"
Random Person 3: "The image cannot be unseen."
Random Person 4: "Now I"m stuck with the mental image of Thorin majestically twerking while Fili and Kili run away as fast as they can while going "NOPE"."
Random Person 5: "I'd rather see THEM twerk!"
Random Person 6: "What have I just imagined in my head? No..."
Random Person 7: "Omg Thorin twerking would be majestic indeed."
Random Person 1: "If you could live in Middle-earth would you want to live as a Hobbit, Elf, Dwarf, or a Human? "
Answer: "I'd go with human because I've already done that and I know what I'm getting into. - Aidan."
Answer: "I'd be one of the eagles! - Dean."
Random Person 1: "What's your favorite dwarvish word?"
Answer: "Ich fit udre - it means "Excuse me, your beard is in my mouth."
Random Person 1: "Dean, which Hobbit character is Aidan most like in real life and why, and Aidan, what about Dean?"
Answer: "Aidan's short term memory is like Radagast. - Dean."
Answer: "Aidan can't remember for Dean."
Pardon me while I go die of laughter. XD Aidan's short-term memory is especially amusing.

Happy Birthday, Dean O'Gorman!
I shall blog my favorite silliest picture of you in honor of your birthday yesterday, December 1st. Rest assured that you have one fan in me who is neither creepy nor stalky (hopefully).
And, because I like seeing you two being happy, here's this one:
"The best bits about playing Fili and Kili? How's this for cheese: hanging out with this guy for two years was a lot of fun." - Aidan Turner on Dean O'Gorman
I love this cast so much, all right.

Air New Zealand Strikes Again!
WATCH IT. Seriously, you must watch it. It's just as funny as their 'An Unexpected Briefing' in-flight safety video from last year. If you remember, that one had a cameo by Peter Jackson.
This time, look for Dean O'Gorman, a native Kiwi, being... well, himself in this video. Also, there's narration by Sylvester McCoy (a.k.a., Radagast) at the end.
Apparently, one also does not simply walk into Mordor. One takes flight NZ8233, gate 43. XD
WATCH IT!
How many more days is it now until December 13th?

Dwarves On Twitter... Again
I watched FOTR again over the weekend and had a fun time suggesting that every other extra was Jed Brophy. Here's what he has to say himself about the Ford of Bruinen scene:
Here's some other things the Dwarves get up to:
That reminds me. I have some gifs to post of Aidan and Dean being troublemakers... XD.

Let's Not Forget The Other Dwarves, Now
Because I think everyone needs to see dancing Nori.
With bonus Peter Jackson apparently thinking, "I don't want to know what they're doing behind my back, do I?"
More Nori dancing:
Also, dancing with Nori and Bifur:
And now, for Bombur dancing (sort of):
And now for Dean O'Gorman and someone who I presume is Stephen Hunter (Bombur)... sitting in an airplane or a bus, I'm not sure which. Probably a bus. Airplanes do not have windows that big, generally.
Also, Dwarves having too much fun in the Pelorus River filming the barrel sequence:
Bofur seems to have liked it:
Bofur in Laketown (I'm betting you anything they stay with Bard's family, and that will be hilarious since Bard's daughters are played by James Nesbitt's daughters... the potential!):
Bofur's ability to hang on to his hat and scarf is truly phenomenal. I'm wondering if he uses superglue... Nope, wait a moment. I think when Bilbo opens the door to the group of Dwarves at Bag End Bofur is in the front and falls flat at Bilbo's feet. I think his hat might actually come off there. Must check for it the next time I watch AUJ.

Kili Gifs, Anyone?
I really need to get a copy of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Extended Edition soon. The pictures and gifs other people are posting of the behind-the-scenes material is just so tantalizing. However, from what I've heard and read on TORn, most stores are having difficulties getting the EE in stock.
Yeah, weird. I don't know why. It's not as if there's not legions of LOTR fans out there to buy them. O.o. So I may just wait and see until the fuss dies down. Then again, I really want to wait for the Special Extended Editions (because you know they're coming). Also, I wouldn't mind getting them on Blu-Ray. If nothing else, my laptop should be able to play them, and superior visual quality would be a nice thing.
But enough of the chit-chat. On to the gifs!
Why is it that all the gifs from the early camera tests are so adorable? Believe me, because I also have a gif of Bofur winking at the camera, and then one of Bifur, Bofur, and Bombur standing together and being a happy family. Somewhere there is also a gif of Bifur throwing punches at the camera, but I haven't saved that one.
I have no idea what Aidan is doing here. (Oh, and, look, it's when he still had his 'Irish Jesus' beard, too.) However, the first thing that comes to mind is, "You do the Hokey-Pokey and you turn yourself around/ And that's what it's all about."
I am fairly sure, however, that that is not what he's actually doing there.
Just... d'awwwww. I think I'm a gonna save this one.
And now for another member of the Durin line showing off his mad invisible spider slaying skills:
Pay attention, fanfic writers! Kili can use a sword like nobody's business! In fact, he uses the mad invisible spider slaying skills that have been passed down the line of Durin for generations!
Ahaha. Sorry, that Fullmetal Alchemist joke will never get old. Never.

Just your standard Kili adorableness here.

Our Loveable Dorks
The good thing about the AUJ EE, even if I do not get a physical copy of it until 2015 or whenever in the SEE, is that it has a lot of bonus material. And people take screencaps and make gifs of this bonus material. And I can find their gifs and screencaps and blog them.
Today: Aidan and Dean being their usual loveable, adorkable selves. For some reason, I have gifs of Dean and pictures of Aidan. Go figure.
Do they ever think before they make these facial expressions? Because you have to wonder sometimes...
I really want to know now what he's saying here, because that grin and nod just has mischief written all over. I still cling firmly to the belief that Fili instigates a lot of the trouble that Kili gets in trouble for. Hey, canonically, in The Unfinished Tales' "Quest for Erebor" Fili is the one to make fun of Bilbo's name when Gandalf tells the Dwarves he's found them a burglar. And so my idea is that Fili told Kili the hobbit's name was, "Mr. Boggins."
Headcanons. I've got a lot of 'em.
I'm... not real sure what they're doing here. Aidan's walking along like, "I'm cool," or, "Just chillin'," or, "Peace," or I'm not sure what. And behind him Dean's just walking along like he owns the place. I'm sure that Graham is not impressed with their antics. He does 'Grumpy Uncle Dwalin' very well, in my opinion. XD You know he had to have had a hand in training them and is actually quite fond of them underneath his gruff exterior.
I mean, just look at the way he groans, "Oh, you great galumphing git," when Fili walks across Bilbo's table. Dwarf families. Gotta love 'em.
I have a similar screencap, but this one's funnier, since his eyes are closed in it. XD Randomly pausing a DVD is always good for a few laughs.
The barrettes make me laugh every time. XD Reblog all the barrettes!
Bad hair day for Aidan, although he doesn't seem bothered by it. Happy Kili is happy. :)
On the other hand, adorable Fili is adorable. Can I just keep this gif on repeat at all times on my computer? Because reasons of Fili. Blond guys for the win.
Aidan, what are you doing? Kili and Fili are obviously having too much fun flying on a giant green-screen eagle... which is what they were doing in this screencap. Huh. What gave Fili those scratches? I suppose something must have nicked him when he, Kili, and Dwalin came to Thorin's defense there at the end. Wish I had been able to see it, though.
DESOLATION OF SMAUG NEEDS MORE FILI. You hear me, PJ? IT NEEDS MORE FILI!

Fun With Dwarves
The comments:
| Martin Freeman at dwarf boot camp. He appears to be leading the workout. It appears Jed Brophy has no idea what he is doing. It appears Adam Brown isn't really trying at all. It appears they are all having the time of their lives.
|| look at how focused Richard is
In other news, Martin has a hard time getting on his pony:
And Aidan is laughing at him. XD
Also, Fili decides that he needs to keep an eye on his brother and so makes him hold hands while crossing the green-screen street:
There is already fanart of this, I assure you. I've seen it. It is adorable.
Oh, and bonus food fights in Rivendell! Lindir is not taking this well.
Let's zoom in on Lindir's face there...
Lindir's face is just the best thing ever.
As a bonus, here is something somebody noticed during the extended Goblin King scene:
| GUYS
| IS THAT
| Thorin being a precious uncle and comforting Kili?
| Yes it is!
Also note: look, Fili's finally there in the background! Although it really doesn't look much like Dean... Darn it, Dean! Why isn't there more of your Fili in AUJ?
I expect this situation to be rectified in DoS. I do. Work on it.

Can They Make A Movie Out Of This? Please?
Another movie, I mean. A modern day version of The Hobbit - pretty much "The Sons of Durin" on the big screen, only without the Bagginshield twist. It would be so amazing. It would be the best thing ever, second only to The Hobbit itself, of course.
Surely the fans can cobble something together, at least.
Oh, wait, they just did.
But it's only gifs! *wails and flails*

Some Cool Gifs
Because I have run out of imagination as far as post titles go.
I think I've done enough damage for today.
