I finally found the source of that quote! *dances happily* In my defense, I haven't seen Finding Nemo in quite a number of years.
Now I can quote this properly.

So True
*cackles insanely and runs off now that the damage is done*
Because this is extremely true. In fact, most of the princes from Disney are kind of bleh. Not much personality there, if you know what I mean? They're all just your standard tall, dark, and handsome princes charming. (Prince Charmings? Oh, I don't know how to pluralize that. You hear 'Prince Charmings' more but I think the noun should be pluralized, not the adjective.)
Granted, the one from Cinderella (does he have a name?) improved vastly in Cinderella 3 (which might actually be my favorite because it's just hilarious), but the rest... meh.
Although Flynn Rider does get points for being the smartest Disney character of all time - he actually is confused when people randomly burst into song.
Speaking of which, take a look at this cosplay:
I almost thought that was animation at first, not a real person. Some of these people who do cosplay are amazingly talented. I, of course, do not rank among that number.

Fili Is A Lion - It Was Bound to Happen
I totally read that in Mufasa's voice. And now I'm going to go cry buckets of ugly tears over the feels this photoset has given me...

We Are All Belle Here
And before you say, "Thorin is technically a king!" I shall reply, "Well, he hasn't been officially crowned yet..."
Not sure what that makes Fili and Kili then. O.o. Official heirs? Next-in-lines? Whatever.

Tangled Headcanon Accepted!
I found this on Tumblr and though it was too good not to share:
| I have a headcanon that the Queen from Tangled is a huge bookworm like her daughter Rapunzel and that books are (or were) her escape. For eighteen years, her books distracted her from the pain of losing her only child.
| | One step further:
| | What if she also read stories to the children at orphanages because she wanted the feeling of reading to a child? Then one day a little boy said how much he loved the Tales of Flynnigan Rider. And she gave him that book because he was so sweet. He was so grateful that he promised that one day he would pay her back. And he did.
| | | YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
| | | | This made me all warm and fuzzy. Thanks guys. -chuckles-
| | | | | i love you all okay bye.
It's so nice to find a headcanon that isn't sad! I can get behind this one whole-heartedly.

It's Brilliant, Brilliant, Briliant, I Say!
*cackles insanely*
In the words of the person on whose blog I found this: I HAVE WAITED MY WHOLE LIFE FOR THIS GIF.
...You know, whenever I say, "It's brilliant!" to myself - even when I'm just thinking and not saying anything out loud - I say it in an Yzma voice. No kidding.
Then again, I can recite this entire section of the movie from memory and am not at all ashamed of that fact. In fact, anywhere from, "Pull the lever, Kronk," up to, "It's dinner time!" is fair game. Yup, I know it all. It's one of my weirder accomplishments. But who cares? XD

Who Here Remembers The Emperor's New Groove?
XD
If you do remember The Emperor's New Groove, which is basically a parody and not Disney's usual fare at all, here is a blast from the past that is guaranteed to de-stress you at least a little:
I needed this today. Whew. Now I feel better. Time to attack physics homework...

Some Random Amusing Things
All I can say is I would LOVE to have this My Little Tolkien Book! Seriously. If I ever had kids I would read it to them regularly, perhaps every night. I would make sure they learned all the characters' names.
Can you see why, if I ever got married, the fact that he would have to like Tolkien is non-negotiable? Talk about a matter of basic compatibility!
Martin Freeman is awesome, is all I can say. He concluded one of his Twitter interviews with, "Now *** off and do something useful." (He's known for swearing in interviews. Yeeeeaaah.)
My brother loves this scene. It's a random funny background event that most people will likely miss, as they're likely focused on Bilbo walking past, asking if Bombur has a cheese knife and generally being flustered by all these Dwarves in his house. However, Fili and Kili are having a bit of trouble with the beer barrel. They can't get the tap to work. (Fairly sure that's Rob Kazinsky as Fili there, too. Don't know why, but the back of his head looks different from Dean O'Gorman's.)
Later, when Gandalf is counting off all the Dwarves on his fingers, you see Fili and Kili walk by, having given up on the tap and just bringing the whole barrel with them. Of course, later Fili walks across the table with some mugs, asking, "Anyone want an ale?" If you look for it, he steps on Kili's plate and Kili smacks him for it. Ah, it's good to see that they're normal brothers...
(Mine have been arguing again, over who threw a basketball at the other. Apparently, both did. *headbang*)
This one is for Elaine, who knows more about Adele than I do. (I only know "Rolling in the Deep" and "Set Fire to the Rain". So I at least get the joke here. Obviously. Or I wouldn't be posting it.)
This one will make more sense for those people who can remember half of Disney's Beauty and the Beast and have seen the infamous Irish Elk Thranduil rides in the prologue of TH:AUJ. Or have seen the sneak peak for The Desolation of Smaug.
I cannot tell you how much I love the way Thranduil is lounging on his throne there. (Thranduil is Legolas's dad, by the way. Now you know why there are fanart of Legolas going, "Daaaad, you're embarassing meeeeee!" behind Thranduil up to his latest wacky stunt.) I think he's going to be one of the high points about The Desolation of Smaug. I just have a good feeling about it.
At this point during the sneak peak, however, I had to clap my hands over my mouth, because it also looks like a lot of fan speculation is going to come true. It will be priceless.
I can't wait. Is it really another eight months?
