Oh, Look, FailBlog Again

But, see, there I am among my own kind - the geeks!

I have a lot of pity for Tuxedo Mask, who always got the short end of the stick, to tell the truth. Apparently, they're doing a new anime for Sailor Moon. Hmm....

Sounds like a new opportunity to stretch my snarking muscles. XD

Oh, Look, I'm Posting Anime Funnies Again

This is so cute!!!! (Yes, it deserves all those exclamation marks. However, you will observe that I stopped short of five, which, according to Terry Pratchett, is a sure sign of a diseased mind.) Anyway, if you're at all familiar with My Neighbor Totoro and Avatar: The Last Airbender, I'm sure you will agree with me that the cuteness of this picture is over 9000.

...I don't even have words to describe how appropriate this is. Yes. Headcanon accepted.

THIS IS NOT OKAY. THIS IS NOT OKAY. ALERT, ALERT, THIS IS NOT OKAY.

If there are two things you DON'T joke about in the FullMetal Alchemist fandom, it's Nina Tucker and Maes Hughes. *sobs inelegantly*

The only thing that could make it worse would be if someone responded with, "Roy didn't either," as he's been blinded in that last picture. :(

Pardon me while I go cry buckets of tears...

...Oh my gosh. I just found the first opening theme song of Shingeki no Kyojin/Attack on Titan... WITH TELETUBBIES!!! http://cheezburger.com/59357697

I am now dying of laughter. As one commentator said, Teletubbies might be even more terrifying than Titans. For we live under the oppression of the tubby custard.

Oh, look more Avatar: The Last Airbender. Sokka is hilarious. Are you sure that was just cactus juice he drank?

On another anime-related note, I've gotten into Soul Eater. Problem is, it's veerrrrrry hard to find the dub on YouTube. Please, don't make me go to Hulu... *whimpers*

It's Time To Post Catholic Pictures Again!

I can't believe that kid is sitting there. How did this come about without the Swiss Guards interfering? Then again, it is just a kid, and Pope Francis doesn't seem to mind. He's amazing that way. Probably creates headaches all the time for the Swiss Guards, but still... he's amazing.

"For He will command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all of your ways." - Psalm 91:11

Now I want to draw that picture... such pretty wings. Of course, they aren't biologically accurate, even ignoring such things as proportion and conflicts with the existing skeletal structure (the main reason why, apparently, Smaug is going to be a wyvern in DoS). The feathers are all raggedy and out of line. But they're still fluffy and white and pretty...

St. Peter's Basilica is going UP!!!

...Come on, admit it. That would make an awesome movie. All you need to add is a fight scene involving the Swiss Guards and a chase scene involving the Popemobile, and it'd be sure to win all the Oscars!

That sounds about right. XD No, actually, I only like the smell of coffee. I don't like the taste. As for wine, I've never really had any, since what you get in Communion at the Mass isn't still wine. Oh, sure, it has the appearances of wine, but in its essence, its substance, it is no longer wine, but the Blood of Christ. That's a rough definition of transubstantiation, folks.

Read my blog, learn random weird facts. Trade? :)

Can I just say that this scene, couple with this quote, makes me very happy?

"For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law." - Matthew 10:35.

A:TLA Again

Guess I'm not what I should be.

Comment #1: Ozai almost did that, but in a different sense than what St. Catherine of Siena intended.

Comment #2: That is a really awesome picture. Wish I could draw like that. My drawing style is completely different and I cannot do perspective AT ALL. Never ask me to draw buildings. I'd rather do horrible trees than buildings. Not that I am great with backgrounds in the first place... I also cannot do shadows. At all. I don't make them dark enough.

Comment #3: Still shipping Zutara. I mean, really.

Comment #4: Why is there blue lightning in the background? Is this supposed to be set during his duel with Azula? O.o

Look! A:TLA Memes!

*dying of laughter this time over something entirely different*

Poor Zuko and Azula... don't you just want to invade the Avatar: The Last Airbender world and punch out Ozai? Because if there is some sort of twisted award for Worst Father Ever, he wins it. The fact that he's voiced by Luke Skywalker is simultaneously hilarious and horrifying.

What has Sokka been drinking? Because I'm not sure it's just Iroh's tea...

I still totally ship Katara and Zuko. I mean, it's symbolic: fire and water. I can vouch for that. I would totally be a waterbender myself, and yet my favorite characters are always the fire people. *coughRoyMustang*coughArcanineRapidashNinetales*cough

It's a very lovely piece of artwork, though. I just really don't get the little hearts by Mei's head when, you know, Zuko forgot about her and left her in prison. I just can't see her forgiving him that easily. And meanwhile he took a lightning bolt for Katara? I mean... really... it makes no sense...

That's the primary reason why I can't get into Korra. I just disagreed so much with the ending of A:TLA.

And now for bonus Yu-Gi-Oh!:

I love how Yami's hair almost makes him as tall as the rest. XD

Stuff I Do In My Spare Time

...For instance, I make memes.

I have learned that (duh) I can do the simplest of edits on Paint (although I loathe that program) to some of my Middle-earth pictures, and thus create memes! Here is what I have come up with all by myself (sort of) today. And they are not all Middle-earth.

So, yeah, congratulations to me for figuring out how to capture an image, load it on Paint, and add text. I'm so accomplished. I can even embroider cushions.

(Sorry, watched the newest Pride and Prejudice last night. The embroidered cushions bit and what defines an accomplished lady never fails to amuse me. Mr. Bingley is so adorkable in that scene. In fact, he is adorkable in EVERY scene he is in.)

I'm not going to say that no one can use these memes I made because (1) I recognize that they are on the Internet and someone will do it regardless and (2) I don't own the images to begin with. I just scribbled on them. If you want to take advantage of my terrible editing skills I say (1) sure, go right ahead and (2) I feel sorry for you.
